About Enrich
Our mission
Our mission is to help leaders move through the world with self assurance, clarity and confidence. We want those leaders to have a positive impact on their companies, their teams and the people they work with.
We welcome all types of leaders who share the experience of navigating today’s challenges and expanding responsibilities, and are striving to learn how to do it together collaboratively, humbly and generously. Our exceptional and multifaceted members are proficient at their crafts while living through dynamic, volatile, uncertain times. They know the fastest and easiest route to solve their challenges is to learn from each other.
Why I built Enrich
While there's plenty of talk about the challenges of being a founder, being an early employee or operator at a startup can be just as confusing and lonely. As the 6th employee at Envoy, joining just after their seed round, I found myself the only person tackling certain problems. I deeply wanted peers to compare notes with and bounce ideas off of.
I attended countless meetups and dinners trying to connect with fellow early employees. None gave me the support I needed. Each evening I returned home drained from introducing myself repeatedly. It was exhausting and didn't help build either my confidence or skillset.
So I changed my approach. I built a list of companies and scoured LinkedIn to reach out to their employees. The response was overwhelming—nearly everyone wanted to connect with me and each other. I began hosting curated dinners and building community around shared challenges. As an experiment, I reached out to 100 engineering leaders to gauge interest in joining a peer group to share best practices. I originally planned to run just one group, but so many people signed up that I couldn't support them on my own. That's when I decided to build Enrich—to provide operators the real, practical support they were craving.
Since launch, we've helped hundreds of leaders at tech companies build connections, get unblocked, and feel less alone. Today, Enrich is the community I wish I could have found all those years ago.
